A single master dashboard tries to serve everyone and serves no one. Build one focused view per role from the same underlying data.
The master dashboard is a well-intentioned trap. It tries to answer every question for every person, so it ends up dense, slow to read, and trusted by no one. People fall back to asking in chat, which is where the status meeting comes from.
Different roles need different questions answered. An executive wants portfolio health and where the risk is. A project manager wants blockers and handoffs. An individual contributor wants their own queue. Same data, three different lenses.
When each role has a page built for the decisions they actually make, adoption follows almost by itself, because the view is faster than asking. That’s the whole game: make the trustworthy path also the easiest one.
